Become a Speaker

The Speakers Bureau was created to raise awareness of adult intercountry adoptee experiences by providing panel discussions and seminars to Nonprofit organizations, adoption agencies, parent support groups, culture camps, universities and schools. We are currently seeking participants to fill a speaker pool, which the Bureau draws from as new events are scheduled. We ask that you complete the following application as accurately as possible. We use this information to assemble panels of speakers with the broadest range of experiences and backgrounds as possible.

We should also note that submission of this application does not ensure that you will speak on a panel immediately, as scheduling is dependent on requests from external organizations. After we receive your application, you will receive a confirmation letter, a current listing of upcoming panels and some orientation material. We will further contact you as new panels are scheduled.

Please note that this is a volunteer position and you will not be compensated outside of travel expenses that will either be paid for in advance or reimbursed to you. Thank you for your interest, we look forward to working with you.
